🏆 What BELIEVERS Are In CHRIST! 🏆
📖1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the CHURCH of God which is at Corinth, to them that are SANCTIFIED in Christ Jesus, CALLED to be saints, with all that in every place CALL upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Apostle Paul, being led by the Spirit as always, speaks of what all believers in Christ are. They form a "sought-out or called out" assembly.
Before I proceed any further, let me explain what the word "Church" mean; that way, you are properly informed and appropriately transformed.
✒ What Does "CHURCH" Mean?
📖Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee...upon this rock I will build my CHURCH; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
In this verse the word “CHURCH” appears for the first time in the New Testament (NT).
The Greek word is “ECCLESIA” and comes from a verb which means “called out from”.
In the NT it is the word commonly used for an ASSEMBLY OF GOD'S PEOPLE (a people who are JESUS-FOCUSED, JESUS-Driven, JESUS-LOVING, JESUS-BASED and Jesus Conscious.
They are called out from the world to be a separate holy people (not according to their works but according to God's gracious and merciful intention).

✒ So, Who Are THEY (Believers; the Church)?
1⃣ They BELONG to God
(📖Acts 20:28 📖John 17:9-10).
They hail from GOD. Their origin is in GOD. They can't be traced to their Bloodline anymore. They are not subject to the will of man, neither are they subservient to satanic manipulations. Apostle Paul, speaking by the Spirit, said "henceforth no we no man after the flesh..." (📖2 Cor 5:16).
2⃣ They are Set Apart “SANCTIFIED”
(📖John 17:17-19).
They are set apart for His special attention. They the focus of His love. They are His vessels of mercy and honor. They are His Ambassadors; the channels through which His Kingdom is established and His authority enforced on the earth. They are God's "Law Enforcement Agencies" on the earth 🌍.
3⃣ They are “IN” CHRIST (📖Eph 1:1, 4).
They in God's BELOVED therefore they're ACCEPTED of GOD. They are not just in the PERSON of GOD but they are also in a PLACE of GOD where they remain untouchable and unreachable and invisible and invincible. They are in a Place (IN CHRIST) where they are exempted from judgement and condemnation and guilt and inferiority, forever!
4⃣ God has CALLED them to be HOLY (to be a special people belonging to a HOLY GOD. 📖Heb 3:1
In the New Testament ALL believers in Christ are called HOLY ONES. 📖Rom 1:1; 📖Phil 1:1
As a result, they don't pray to be holy, neither do they try to be holy or engage in religious activities in order to merit holiness. They LIVE holy naturally because that is who they are IN CHRIST JESUS.
📖Acts 10:15 "...What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common."
5⃣ They have ONE LORD
📖1 Corinthians 8:5-6
For though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many called gods and lords), yet FOR US there is but ONE GOD, the Father, from whom are all things, and we in him; and ONE LORD Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. (See also 📖Rom 10:9)
And THIS LORD is their SHEPHERD, therefore they lack nothing (📖Psalm 23). They are ABUNDANTLY SUPPLIED and ADEQUATELY FORTIFIED. They are under a NEW banner: The Banner of His LOVE!
📖Song of Solomon 2:4 He brought me to the BANQUETING house, and his banner over me was love.
